Day 1: Torugart – Tash Rabat
Upon arrival at the Chinese-Kyrgyz border, you will be met by our Kyrgyz driver. He will take you to the Tash Rabat Caravanserai on the Great Silk Road. It is a Stone Castle from the 14th century. The building is unique with the location at the very heart of Tien Shan Mountains, that was built of stone blocks inside a mountain at an elevation of 3200 m above sea level and having 31 rooms. Also, the building is interesting with 1meter thick walls and underground prison cells formerly used to incarcerate thieves in ancient times. You will get acquainted with this distinctive place in a beautiful landscape having a traditional dinner and spend the night in yurts near Tash Rabat Caravanserai. This will be the most enjoyable time, where you can feel yourself as a real kyrgyz nomad.
Day 2: Tash Rabat – Kichi Naryn – Kochkor
Today you will go to Kochkor village. The road will go along amazing and picturesque Kichi Naryn gorge with the mountain pass that is 3000 meters high. In Kochkor village a family will show you the way our national felt carpets are produced. You will not only look at the process, but join them and create your own carpet together. There is a handicraft museum full of examples of silver decorations, coats made of wolfs, horse saddle decorations, carpets and many other things which you can buy for yourself. You will spend the night in a home stay.
Day 3: Kochkor – Bishkek
After Breakfast you will go to Bishkek city. On the way to Bishkek you will visit the Burana tower from the 11th century which was used during the Great Silk Road as a sign for travelers that there was a city to have a rest and an open-air museum of Balbals which means stone warriors. These grave stone warriors were made in honor of brave soldiers that died for their Motherland. In the second half of the day you will get acquainted with the sights of our capital. The tour of Bishkek includes visits of Victory square, Oak Park, Central Ala-Too Square, Old Square , the National Philharmonic and many other attractions of interest. At the end of the day a transfer will take you to your hotel.
Day 4: Bishkek – Ala Archa – Bishkek
Today's day is dedicated to an excursion to the National Park in Ala-Archa Gorge. It is 40 km from Bishkek city and takes you 40-50 minutes to get there. At your request you can have a short hiking tour to see a panoramic view of the gorge. After the gorge we will return to Bishkek city to visit our Asian Bazaar which is colorful tapestry of fabrics, produce, and people selling and buying goods. Here you will be able to take a lot of dynamic photos of bustling local life and also buy interesting Souvenirs, haggling with local sellers. At the end of the day your transfer will take you to the hotel.
Day 5: Airport
Today you are returning back. Your transfer to the airport is in the morning. This is the end of your travel in Kyrgyzstan.
